Moving abroad and your flat in Czechia is still full of furniture? You don't have to sell every piece yourself. At movingczechia.cz we can sell it for you, give it a second life, store it or move it abroad. movingczechia.cz is part of Umutexpress.cz and is run by its founder, so your furniture stays with one team from start to finish.
Before you start, check your rental contract: in furnished flats, some furniture belongs to the landlord. Then take photos and measure the pieces you want to sell or move.
Sell your furniture through us
Selling furniture yourself means dozens of messages, viewings at your flat and buyers without a van. We do it for you:
- Send us photos and sizes on WhatsApp.
- Tell us your minimum price and the price you would like to get.
- We list it in our second-hand shop and agree the price with the buyer within your range.
- We deliver the furniture to the buyer.
- When it sells, you receive the amount we agreed with you.
Prefer to sell on Bazoš.cz or Facebook Marketplace? Most buyers there have no way to transport a sofa or wardrobe. Tell them that we can deliver it, and your item sells faster.
Not using it? Give it to us
A bookshelf, kitchen chairs or a side table that is still good but not worth selling can get a second life in our second-hand shop instead of ending up at a landfill. We collect it together with your move or flat clearance.
Furniture storage in Brno
Leaving for a year, or not sure yet if you will come back? Keeping your furniture can cost less than selling it and buying new later. We offer storage in Brno for furniture and boxes, with pick-up anywhere in Czechia and delivery when you need it.
Move your furniture abroad
Umutexpress.cz moves furniture from and to Czechia across the Schengen area (except Switzerland). For a few pieces, shared moving keeps the price low: your items travel with another move on the same route and you pay only for your part. See our moving services.
Flat clearance and recycling in Brno and Prague
What can't be sold or reused, we take to recycling centres in Brno or Prague. Don't leave furniture next to the bins: it is not allowed and can lead to a fine.
