This page explains what personal data we process when you visit movingczechia.cz or contact us, why we do it and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we process
- When you ask for a quote or a service: your name, phone number, email address, pick-up and delivery addresses, dates, details and photos of your items, and the messages you send us.
- When you sell furniture through us: the details above, your minimum and target price, and, if you want to be paid by bank transfer, your account details. You can also be paid in cash.
- When you buy from our second-hand shop: your name, contact details and delivery address.
- When you visit the website: technical data such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
The website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own site.

How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to an order: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Data about orders and services: for the duration of the service and then as long as needed to handle possible claims.
- Invoices and accounting documents: for the period required by Czech accounting and tax law.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us through WhatsApp. WhatsApp processes your messages under its own terms.
- Our accountant, for invoices and tax records.
- Buyers of items you sell through us see only photos and descriptions of the item, not your personal data.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. In that case they use the safeguards required by the GDPR. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, write to [email protected].
You can also file a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
